Résumés for Travel Nurses There are numerous opportunities in travel nursing, and the more skills and certifications you can demonstrate on your résumé, the more assignments you'll be able to choose from. Your résumé should highlight your up-to-date certifications and the versatility of your background. Because travel nurses often receive little or no orientation and are expected to quickly adapt to a hospital’s routine, many recruiters prefer someone with a clinical-care background and at least one year of recent experience. Traveling to a new destination every few months also requires some important
personal qualities. Use your background, experience, and accomplishments
to demonstrate that you are flexible, can learn quickly, and have strong
organizational skills.
