Spring Grove Hospital Center is a 330-bed complex that provides a broad spectrum of inpatient and residential psychiatric services to adults. The Center is owned and operated by the State of Maryland, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and is located in Catonsville, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore.

Fully accredited and certified, Spring Grove has an ongoing commitment to providing psychiatric care and treatment of the highest quality. They also maintain a number of student teaching programs and serve as a popular training site for many professional schools, including the University of Maryland.

Spring Grove was founded in 1797 and is now the second oldest continuously operating psychiatric hospital in the United States. They are proud of their rich history and long tradition of meeting the mental health needs of the citizens of Maryland.
