Edaville USA
The hourly 5.5-mile train rides take adults and youngsters through Peacedale Village, Cranberry Lake Park, and into the scenic Cape Cod cranberry bogs. On the occasions that feature Thomas the Tank Engine (a full-sized replica of the children's book character), the village is overtaken by clowns, magicians, jugglers, face painters, and more. In addition to kiddie rides, the park features Edaville Museum, with a display of antique locomotives, cars, and cranberry harvesting equipment. During summer months, kids can take a ride on the back of a fire engine. Special events include October's Cranberry Harvest Festival and winter's Holiday Festival of Lights. Both events offer the chance to ride a steam engine rather than the regular diesel train. A handful of eateries on the grounds make it possible to spend a full day at Edaville USA. If you prefer to pack your own, picnic lunches may be brought and enjoyed at picnic tables outside the entrance. Location Hours of operation Admission Contact information
