Whether your musical palate prefers the eloquence of Brahms or the simplicity of Handel, your artistic life in Durham will be enriched by the Durham Symphony Orchestra. All performing musicians are professionally trained volunteers who must audition for a seat in the orchestra.
Cost
Season tickets for classical concerts are $43; $15 for students. Individual
tickets also are available; prices vary.
Location
The Symphony performs a variety of classical programs throughout the year in
the historic Carolina Theatre in downtown Durham, as well as other selected
venues. The "Outdoor Family
Pops" is performed at area parks.
