Durham Neighborhoods

Known as the "City of Medicine" because of its outstanding hospitals and healthcare companies, Durham is a compact, 299-square-mile, single-city county with a population of 227,034. Hills, dales, wandering rivers, lakes, and 98,000 acres of hardwood and evergreen forests characterize its landscape. In addition, it offers an active, revitalized downtown area.
