UCLA Armand Hammer Museum
The 14,000-square-foot museum covers two floors and includes a courtyard, which is used for cultural performances. The permanent art collection consists primarily of traditional art, from the Renaissance to contemporary periods, with an emphasis on Impressionist and post-Impressionist works. Artists on display include Cassat, Monet, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Van Gogh. There also is a display of art produced by the 19th century French artist Honore Daumier and his contemporaries. The upper level of the museum is home to the UCLA Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts. It contains more than 35,000 works, including prints, drawings, photographs, and books by creative giants such as Oscar Wilde and Paul Cezanne. The UCLA Armand Hammer Museum is closed on Mondays, New Year's Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Cost
Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Group reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Admission is free for everyone each Thursday. Contact information
