Mission Community Hospital Panorama City Campus San Fernando Campus Mission Community Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient acute care at two campuses. Its San Fernando facility, built in 1923, is the San Fernando Valley's oldest hospital. The board of Mission Community Hospital (MCH) purchased the former Panorama Community Hospital facility in 1992 and merged the two hospitals' licenses. Licensed for 96 medical/surgical beds and 56 acute psychiatric beds, MCH provides medical, surgical, psychiatric, and emergency care. Close to 200 private-practice physicians are affiliated with MCH, which employs more than 400 highly skilled clinical and support personnel. A construction and renovation project is underway to upgrade both campuses
and MCH's medical office building, create a new imaging center, and construct
