St. Barnabas Hospital

Founded in 1866, the 461-bed St. Barnabas Hospital ranks as New York State’s 15th largest hospital. The non-profit, acute-care community hospital is set on a 10-acre landscaped campus. In terms of medical education, the hospital trains 225 physicians annually and runs the nation’s largest hospital-based, general-practice dental residency program.

Included in the St. Barnabas Network are St. Barnabas Nursing Home and the Fordham-Tremont Community Mental Health Center.

St. Barnabas Hospital is affiliated with New York College of Osteopathic Medicine of New York Institute of Technology, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and New York-Presbyterian Healthcare Network.
