New York Hospital Queens

What began as a Manhattan maternity home in 1892 became a full-fledged hospital 22 years later, moving to Queens in 1957. Currently, New York Hospital Queens is a 457-bed, acute-care teaching hospital and Level I trauma center.

The nonprofit medical center is the flagship institution of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System. New York Hospital Queens’ staff of more than 2,000 is supplemented by some 900 affiliated physicians and dentists.
