New York City Neighborhoods
The truth is that Manhattan is only one of five boroughs that comprise New York City. The collection of boroughs, which also includes the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, are filled with unique and diverse neighborhoods that run the gamut from the ultra-chic to badly in need of resurgence. But thanks to the overhaul that took place under former-mayor Rudy Giuliani’s administration, the whole city is on a general upswing. Manhattan has been the greatest beneficiary of this so far, but it’s hoped that the other boroughs also will come along for the ride.
