Central Florida Zoological Park
Shaded boardwalks and winding paths put visitors in the mood for a tropical experience, and the zoo delivers with reptiles, primates, felines, colorful birds, and hoofed mammals in naturalistic habitats. Highlights range from the fluttering beauties of the Butterfly Sensory Garden, to the slimy and scaly residents of the Herpetarium, to such endangered species as the clouded leopard, cotton-top tamarin, and Aruba Island rattlesnake. On weekends when the weather permits, demonstrations and public feedings involve the zoo's elephants, snapping turtles, hippos, felines, and primates. Central Florida Zoo amenities include picnic areas, snack bars, and a gift store. Location Hours of operation Admission
Admission is half-price every Thursday, 9–10 a.m., and half-price for senior citizens all day on Tuesdays. Discounts also are available for groups of 10 or more. Parking is free. Contact information
