Disney's Boardwalk
Opened in 1996, Disney's Boardwalk aims to be a more tranquil tourist getaway and, as such, is a lesser-known delight. Bordering Lake Crescent, the quarter-mile wooden Boardwalk once featured a dancing venue during the retro-swing craze. Nowadays, Atlantic Dance Hall lets you hoof it to the tunes of DJs and Top 40 dance bands. Dueling pianists battle it out at "Jellyrolls" piano bar, taking requests and encouraging audience sing-alongs. The ESPNŽ Club sports bar offers game action on 100 TV monitors, sports trivia contests, and a variety of food offerings, from burgers to pasta. A wider menu is featured at Big River Grille & Brewing Works, Disney's only working brewpub, which lets you view the brewing process through glass walls. Other eateries range from quaint to upscale and from bakery to Mediterranean cuisine, while shops include the marine-art Wyland Galleries and an ESPN merchandise store. Midway games along the Boardwalk tempt you to knock down bottles or toss a ring for a prize. Location Hours of operation Cost Disabled access Contact information Special considerations
