Children and parents are invited to participate in a free pre-admission program called P.L.A.Y (Pre-Admission Learning and You), which is designed to reduce children's fear of hospitals. And once hospitalized, children are encouraged to express their feelings through play therapy facilitated by the staff of the Child Life and Healing Arts program. Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women also offers a wide range of clinical and supportive services for women, including assisting with childbirth, postpartum depression, and multiple births.
