Graduate Hospital

Graduate Hospital
The Graduate Hospital was established as the clinical teaching facility of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine in 1916, but actually traces its roots back to the last century. One ancestor, the Philadelphia Polyclinic, began to treat patients on the current site of the Graduate Hospital in 1889. Graduate has developed an international reputation for excellence in patient care, medical education and research.

Graduate currently houses 303 inpatient beds, four intensive care units, an emergency department, as well as a full range of in- and outpatient diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Outpatient care takes place primarily in the Tuttleman Center located at 1840 South Street. The 75,000 square foot building was carefully designed to provide a comforting and comfortable atmosphere for patients, staff and visitors. The Tuttleman Center houses one of the nation's most advanced concentrations of diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including the Cancer Program, with a Radiation Oncology component, the Imaging Center with MRI and CT capabilities, Nuclear Medicine and a same-day Surgery unit.

More than 550 physicians have been granted admitting privileges and are joined by approximately 2,000 employees of the hospital in delivering patient care. Over 120 residents and fellows are receiving advanced training in areas of medicine, surgery and other specialties at any one time. Our nursing staff is composed almost exclusively of professional registered nurses.

There's more to Orlando than just Mickey Mouse!
Arguably the most interesting city in the country.
Naturally pleasant, technically prime.
