Opened in 1954, Children’s Hospital San Diego remains Greater San Diego’s only designated pediatric trauma center and the only San Diego hospital dedicated solely to pediatric care. In addition to its main campus, Children’s Hospital has 15 neighborhood centers that offer primary care and specialized services.
