Psychiatric and chemical dependency programs are the focus at the 149-bed Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital, San Diego County’s largest privately owned psychiatric hospital. Established in 1963, the hospital was acquired by Sharp HealthCare in 1998.

Supplementing the staff of 40 psychiatrists is an affiliated staff of more than 150 medical and allied health professionals.
