Natural History Museum As one of the 10 largest natural history museums in the entire world, the Natural History Museum within the California Academy of Sciences is a great place to learn about dinosaurs, earthquakes, meteors, and prehistoric life. You can catch a glimpse of the evolution of California plants and animals, and stand next to a skeleton of T. Rex. Classic dioramas let you witness a safari in Africa, and you'll be dazzled by the hundreds of minerals on display in the 200-foot-long Mineral Hall. Location Hours of operation Admission
