The Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf

Would you like to meet Robin Williams? How about Julia Roberts? Or would you rather rub elbows with Abraham Lincoln, Charles Lindbergh, or Queen Elizabeth II? You can get close to all of them—to their wax images, that is—at the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf. With nearly 300 wax images, this wax museum is one of the world's largest.

You'll see the wax likenesses of past and present world leaders, heroes, scoundrels, and entertainers. The museum's handcrafted figures are displayed in a number of different settings, such as the Chamber of Horrors, Hall of Presidents, and Hollywood.Walk. And with the museum's audio-tour narration, you can hear the historical background and other facts about the real-life counterparts to the wax figures.
