Harborview Medical Center is a teaching and research hospital affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Its orthopedic department is considered one of the best in the country, and its Level I adult and pediatric trauma center is internationally recognized.

In addition to offering comprehensive primary care to adults and children at its Family Medicine Clinic, Harborview Medical Center provides rehabilitation therapies, senior care, and dental care, and operates the Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress. The 351-bed facility offers a wide range of patient services to residents throughout Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
