Arizona’s oldest hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, was opened in 1880 with 12 beds. Since that time, it has grown into a 393-bed facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services.

St. Mary’s has the distinctions of having Tucson’s busiest emergency department, and of running Southern Arizona’s only Burn and Wound Care Program.
